Terry "Elvis" Buchwald

Terrance C. Buchwald a well-known tribute artist from Western New York has earned the distinction of being one of the top tribute artists in the United States, according to the LA Times.

In October 1991, Terry unexpectedly found himself on stage with a local band launching what now is professionally greater than he could have ever imagined.

Six thousand five hundred scarves later, and still counting, audiences are astonished with his dynamic voice and striking resemblance to Elvis. By all accounts, Terry has the looks, the moves and the voice of the legendary "King".

He has performed for such celebrity functions and corporate parties as: Emmy Award Cast Party for the TV shows, Ally McBeal and The Practice in Hollywood, Ca, WNY Make A Wish Foundation's "An Evening With the Stars" Hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford, NYS Governor Pataki's New Year's Eve Ball Former Buffalo Bill's quarterback, Jim Kelly's NFL/ESPN retirement party, New York City and Boston Marathon post-race parties, Alan Thicke Celebrity Classic, Anheuser-Busch Summer Tour NFL Super Bowl Parties, NHL All-Star Benefit, Buffalo Hill Village, opening for Sawyer Brown, Diamond Rio, Montgomery Gentry and Lee Greenwood.

Appearances made on the television shows such as:Your Big Break, a Dick Clark Production, U's Place,a Fox 29 children's show Variety Club Telethon for Buffalo's Children's Hospital, Doc, on PAX TV.

This has taken Terry to several major cities in the United States and Canada, including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Hollywood, New York City and Toronto. He has also performed in countries as far away as Japan, Puerto Rico and Mexico.

Terry takes part in volunteer work, charities, fundraisers and awareness events for organizations such as the Women & Childrens Hospital of Buffalo, Make A Wish Foundation, United Cerebral Palsy, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Muscular Dystrophy Association, AIDS Rochester and Hospice.

Terry has been a spokesman, guest DJ and entertainer for Buffalo radio stations Oldies 104, 97rock, Star 102 and Kiss 98.5. Frequently, area listeners hear him on commercials and voice-overs.

Originally, all the technical work, music selection, special effects, set up, tear down and more were handled by Terry and his family, but with the increasing number of shows, it became necessary for him to add the TCB Security and Crew. Terry also recently added a Country Music tribute to the Elvis Show, performing songs by Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw and many other top recording artists.

Terry enjoys entertaining people and attributes his success to his hard work, focus and commitment to a dream. Since December, 2002 he has released 3 CDs Terry Buchwald TCB, Big Hunk O' Love & Home for Christmas.
